After working with home school families for years, a mom told me "Mr. D, my son finally understands Algebra, would you please just write your own book?" So I did just that. Now after a successful pilot, I am excited to make this available to you. - Mr. D
This is the end of struggling with getting your kids to do math homework. They'll actually enjoy math. This math curriculum is one that offers your own personal teacher straight to your home while infusing life skills for teens and goal setting as the basis for program delivery.
On a weekly basis, your child will master the necessary concepts of math, while learning to manage their time, coursework completion, tests and grades. This curriculum will leave your child prepared for tests such as the SAT and college level courses.
How does it work?
Design of Online Classes:
· Students attend a 1 hour weekly session in the online classroom. The assignments will then be created with examples given from each section to be done during that week.

· As students complete assigned lessons or tests for the week, they will check their work with the solution manual and return each week with any questions regarding course work and tests. They also have access to Mr. D Math staff via email and/or phone if questions rack their brains.

When and how long is each session?
Mr. D Math courses are a weekly 1 hour online session and is set up by the quarter.
Completing 4 quarters will complete a full high school credit in the following courses.

What is in the curriculum?
The curriculum is digital and can downloaded right to your computer. It can be viewed with both Macintosh and PC computer systems. The curriculum consists of course work for each session, solutions to course work, DVD to watch to review the content created in the weekly online session, tests, exams and all solutions hand written step by step.
What is the cost?
Mr. D Math courses Pre Algebra, Algebra I and Geometry are $149 per quarter. Each quarter is 9 weeks long. This includes, the curriculum, the online sessions with Mr. D and access to AskMrD.com, a help center website.
Mr. D Math SAT online Boot Camps and Life Skills 4 Teens mini courses are 8 weeks in duration and the cost is $135 for the mini course.
What equipment is needed to join the virtual classroom?
Students will need a laptop or desktop computer, internet access, headphones with microphone and a
web-cam. iPads do not work using this online technology. Sorry iPad techies.
How many students will be allowed into the virtual classroom?
No more than 10 students will be in any virtual class section.

The Ultimate Math SAT Review Content:

Students will learn everything how to decode the SAT style of question as well as practice math tips and test taking skills. Calculator skills will be worked on as well. Students will work between sessions on practice problems and have The Mr. D Math Ultimate Math SAT DVD program for support between sessions.
The Mr. D Math online SAT Boot Camp is on Tuesday evenings 8:45-9:45pm EST beginning January 24th.
