A: When he/she is in the 9th or 10th grade they are ready. They should have completed Algebra I or above as well.

A: The SAT is looking at Algebra I and Geometry skills in an in depth analytical way of asking the question where the ACT is more general but covers Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Trigonometry skills.
